Whether you’re an EMT, Paramedic, Emergency Nurse, or EMS Physician, First There First Care & Gathering of Eagles is a must do!
The First There First Care Conference is a premier event for emergency medical services professionals in South Florida and beyond. This year’s theme, “Doing more than ever before,” in partnership with the Gathering of Eagles, a global consortium of innovative EMS medical directors, will explore the role of technology in shaping the future of healthcare.
The conference offers over 100 sessions, providing attendees with the latest trends and techniques in pre-hospital emergency medicine and emergency department nursing. As recent events have reminded us, it is crucial for our skills to remain sharp and focused, and the conference aims to support that goal.
In addition, the conference will also host the Chief Michael Haygood ALS competition, the K2 Nursing competition, and the first annual Honor Guard competition, taking place from June 11th to June 13th, 2023. These competitions serve as an opportunity for participants to showcase their skills and knowledge in their field.
The FTFC Honor Guard Competition brings together some of the best honor guard units in the country to showcase their talents and dedication to the Fire Service in a competitive atmosphere. The competition elements are designed to test each unit in detail they are expected to perform as part of an Honor Guard unit as well as evaluating individual drill. The event is judged by instructors from the National Honor Guard Academy. There will be a formal award ceremony immediately following the conclusion of the competition.
The course is laid out so that even teams with moderate experience can compete while still maintaining high standards for all involved. We have found that the preparation for this event is one of the most effective ways to raise the level of performance for the teams and helps teams’ network with others from around the country.
We are excited to announce that for the first time, FTFC/GOE is offering an enhanced opportunity in addition to the standard trade show exhibit package. This “add-on” will allow the vendor to have a dedicated space inside the Experience Hall where they can have more personalized, one-on-one interaction with potential customers. Envision Sim-Lab with a more personal and direct educational component. This presents a unique opportunity for sponsors to engage in one-on-one interactions and demonstrate their company’s products to nearly 700 emergency medical services, nursing, and hospital professionals who possess purchasing authority.
